Q:Why is history understood in a wrong way?

A wrong history view is imposed upon Japan because Japan lost the war.

(1) A lot of covert operations are done in Japan

It is evident today that more than 300 Russian spies were operation around Roosebelt. If that is the situation of a powerful nation of the U.S., then it is not difficult to imagine that various operations were done inside Japan which lost the war to make the situations disadvantageous for Japan. Japan was driven by various types of covert operations from various directions.

There are various kinds of covert operation as follows. There is something in common among all these operations, which is ‘to plant guilt in the mind of Japanese’.

..........(a)American covert operation

This operation began with planting guilt of war to the mind of Japanese in order to cloud the issue of massacre of the atomic bombs by the U.S.

Today Japan is an inevitable ally for the U.S. However, the U.S. is not on the side of Japan about the lie of the Nanjing massacre, probably because the U.S. will be accused for the atomic bomb massacre if Japan hadn’t committed the massacre.

Since the end of the war for 70 years, Japanese national administration has been always done according to the U.S.’s intentions, which can be checked in the web-site of the foreign ministry in Japan as ‘The U.S.-Japan Regulatory Reform and Competition Policy Initiative’ and also there must be many other ways behind the scenes.

.........(b) Brain washing activity of China

At the end of the war in 1945, the Soviet Union declared war against Japan like a thief at a fire, they took 570,000 Japanese soldiers for the forced labor. And they handed over more than 900 of them to the Chinese communist party, so that they could brain wash the soldiers to believe that Japan committed a war crime in Fushun War Criminals Management Center. The last one who returned to Japan 19 years after the end of the war.

Many of those who advocate that Japan had done a war crime such as Nanjing massacre among the Japanese people are the ones who were brain-washed there or got influenced by them.
Those who were brain-washed well got free from severe punishment such as capital punishment and were able to return to Japan. It is told as an impressing story among some people that the Chinese Communist Party was generous enough to set free the Japanese war criminals. But their actual purpose was to expand the propaganda through them.

.........(c)Socialists’ covert operation

As in the article ‘Cominterun and socialistic ideology’, today it is a well known fact that the U.S. and the communist cominterun were in connection with each other behind the scenes. Since the U.S. itself pushed it from behind, the communist power enter Japan after the war.

.........(d) Korean covert operation

At present in Japan, lobbying of North Korea, South Korea, or something which may not be defined south nor north, is active.

A law which may not be beneficial for any Japanese gets passed, or a situation such as ‘Kono Statement’ where Japanese foreign ministry seems to admit the wrong doing of Japan in the comfort women, which actually has no evidence at all. These things happen because of the lobbying.

(2) Because of the Japanese nature

(a) guilt
As in the article ‘Japanese good characteristic causes misunderstanding’, a culture of humbleness and not blaming others causes the hearts of Japanese to be closed and to fell guilty.

What kind of place do you imagine, talking of an atomic bomb museum in Hiroshima? There are no display with a purpose of anger and condemning against war crimes. What is symbolic was an epitaph which says ‘ Please sleep in peace. We will never repeat this mistake.’ This means that Japanese will never make another mistake of causing the atomic-bomb.

It is not just surprising but appalling to see the attitude of self-condemning even for the war crime of massacre which the U.S. had committed.

(b ) Culture of apology
Apology is part of Japanese culture. That is why Japanese people sometimes apologize even if they do not really think they are in the wrong for the purpose of settling things peacefully.
Even if there are moments of Japanese apologizing as a group in a big international Christian conference, there are only a few who want to apologize from the heart, feeling that they are in the wrong.

(c) A wrong history spreads out by apologizing.

When Japanese people apologize, that calls for another misunderstanding.
70 years after the end of the war, Eastern Asian, and Southeastern Asian people do not think much about the past history except for China and Korea. In spite of that, when they see Japanese apologize for something, even if that may not have happened, they may think that there was such a history, and a wrong history view will spread out.

It is frightening to know that what Japanese do for a good intention has become a wrong propaganda on the contrary.
